Ashburton & Buckfastleigh Hospital League of Friends
The object of the League of Friends as a charity is to raise funds for the benefit of the local hospital and community. This is done by many various ways and we would welcome anyone who would like to help. If you are interested in finding out more, please contact Mrs Esther Balme 07753 605902 who will be only too willing to discuss this with you. The League of Friends have raised thousands of pounds over the years so why not help your community Hospital by being involved. They meet every 3rd Tuesday in the month at 7.45pm

Ashburton Conservative Club
We are a friendly social club for members and their guests. We have the only snooker table and skittle alley in the town, and hold regular events, Quiz Nights, Darts and Skittles Leagues. We have a small dining area, an excellent chef [ex navy] in our steward Paul Knowles, and an extensive menu. We are available to hold parties/functions, and we have a meeting room for hire at very reasonable rates. The Club now has WiFi available. Ashburton Devon Dialect Club
The Club meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month 7.30 pm - 9.00pm and everyone is welcome. The club holds various events each month and you do not have to be Devonian to come along. Ashburton Probus Club
Ashburton Probus is a club which provides regular meetings for retired and semi-retired professional and businessmen and others with like backgrounds, who appreciate and value increased opportunities for social contact. The club is non-political, non-sectarian and non-racial and meets every other Tuesday throughout the year at the Ashburton Conservative Club to hear a talk given by a local speaker on topics as diverse as, the reminiscences of a Scottish Pilot through to the House of Lords in the Civil War. The WI organises monthly talks, walks, keep fit, healthy days, trips. It's not just Coffee Mornings! We are interested in the environment and what is happening to our towns, villages and countryside. Do come along - there is something for everyone.
