This exhibition is taking place at the Town Hall Ashburton in the Council Chambers and is by Shane Tubby

Friday and Saturday 9am to 6pm



MEMORIES OF WAR

The Town Council has added another section to the website entitled "MEMORIES OF WAR"

If you have any photographs of medals won by Ashburton people that you would like considered for inclusion then contact the Town Clerk for further details. If you are able to forward anything you may have via e-mail, even better, as this will save a lot of time processing including a photograph of the person.

To enter the page, click "ABOUT ASHBURTON" -THEN "HISTORY" and you will see the page heading, click this section and this will take you to the page.




VACANCY FOR RELIEF CARETAKER

Vacancy for Relief Caretaker

Ashburton town council is looking to
appoint a relief caretaker to cover
holidays and sickness.

The post would be paid on an hourly rate.

Please be aware that on certain days you will need to be able to open up and lock up depending on bookings.

Duties would involve opening and closing the town hall for events, cleaning of the town hall and other duties as requested by the Clerk.

ASHBURTON RURAL SKIP

The Ashburton Rural Skip Service will take place at Kingsbridge Lane Car Park on Saturday 16th October 2010 from 10am to 4pm.

This service is for bulky household waste only.
